Larry is a registered psychological associate and has a Masters of Arts in counselling psychology. He has competency to work in both counseling and clinical psychology with adolescents, adults and families. He has over 30 years experience working in a variety of hospital settings, including addictions, eating disorders, and most recently clients with mood and anxiety disorders. He has trained in Radically Open Dialectical Behavior therapy, Dialectical Behavior therapy, Emotion Focused therapy and Family Based Treatment for eating disorders. He currently is participating in the RO DBT clinical scholars program. He also has been researching the efficacy of RO DBT in a hospital setting.
In session, you can expect a relaxed warm atmosphere while focusing on making behavioral changes to increase social connection with relationships that matter. In his free time, Larry enjoys being outdoors, whether it’s running, mountain biking, swimming, canoeing, or just sitting beside a lake. He is married and has 3 married adult children.
