Nataly Georgieva is a Registered Dietitian who provides virtual nutrition care to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. She has a Master of Science in Foods and Nutrition from Western University. While obtaining her Masters degree, Nataly completed an accredited dietetic internship with various rotations including eating disorders, diabetes education, multi-organ transplant, long-term care, and public health. It was during Nataly’s eating disorder rotation at Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences that she became especially passionate about working in the field of eating disorders / disordered eating. Since then, Nataly has enhanced her nutrition counselling skills after working in multiple private practice settings, including outpatient eating disorder clinics, where she supported clients at all stages of their eating disorder recovery (i.e. anorexia, bulimia, binge-eating, ARFID), ranging from folks on a wait-list for a higher level of care, to folks who are newly discharged from hospital, and beyond. Nataly has an extensive history working with clients who have disordered eating, including but not limited to, folks who are chronic dieters or yoyo dieters, use food to cope with emotions, experience guilt and shame with food, and struggle with body image concerns. Nataly also regularly participates in professional development and completed a year-long eating disorder course for dietitians called EDforRDs.
In sessions, you can expect Nataly to be compassionate, use humour, and provide individualized care that is tailored to meet your specific needs. Nataly loves to make sessions engaging by providing hands-on practical sessions when appropriate including grocery store sessions, meal prepping / cooking sessions, and meal support. During her free time, Nataly enjoys playing video games, creating handmade cards for loved ones, and expanding her native Macedonian language skills.
